Conditions to apply

Officers nominated for the Course should:

  • have the first university (Bachelor) degree as a minimum.
  • have successfully completed the Command and General Staff College Course (for Jordanians only).
  • be a colonel with at least one-year seniority or a brigadier-general.
  • have passed the TOFEL, or the national exam.
  • have a good command of computer skills.
  • have, preferably, a satisfactory command of English.
  • Have, at least, a “Very Good” rating in the last three annual proficiency reports.

Jordanian Civilians
Candidates for the Course should:
 
  • A Jordanian.
  • have the potential to assume high leadership positions in the Government.
  • be of “first class” level in terms of seniority.
  • have passed the TOFEL, or the national exam.
  • have the first university (Bachelor) degree as a minimum.
  • Candidates actual service in permanent civil service and within their own specialization and qualification must be 12 years at least.
  • have at least, a “Very Good” rating in his/her last three annual proficiency reports.
  • have, preferably, a satisfactory command of English.
  • have a good command of computer skills.
  • In addition to the above prerequisites, Jordanian nominees–both military and civilian–are subject to the approval of the College’s Trustee Board. All nominees, on the other hand, should meet the requirements of Mu’ta University as is stipulated in its laws and regulations (RJNDC is one of Mu’ta University’s Colleges).

War Course - Selection criteria
Jordanian Military personnel nominated for the Course must:
 
  • Have the first university (Bachelor’s) degree with the rate of “Good” as a minimum.
  • Have successfully completed the Command and Staff College Course.
  • Be a Lieutenant Colonel with at least three-year seniority and that his rank should not exceed the rank of a newly promoted Brigadier General (one year of seniority).
  • Have served as a Battalion Commander or its equivalents.
  • Have, preferably, a good command of English.
  • Have, at least, a “Very Good” rating in the last three annual proficiency reports.
  • All nominees, military and civilians, should meet the admission requirements of Mu’tah University in accordance with its law, bylaws and regulations. Officers from other nationalities:
  • Non-Jordanian Participants must achieve similar to Jordanian prerequisites.
