The Royal Jordanian National Defense College is located at an altitude of 900 meters on one of the hills of Moab Ridge, the cradle of a civilization that flourished in the 12th century B.C. Vestiges of this civilization are still visible there. The site of the College, overlooking some parts of the West Bank, is 30 km south of the Capital Amman and is very close to the village of Hisban. About 10km south of the College is the historical city of Madaba.
On the western side of the College campus is a hill rising more than 50m above ground level, which, despite its silence, honestly tells a vivid story of our ancestors through the historical remains scattering here and there over the place.
