Dr. Nael Al-Hussami, Director General of the Amman Chamber of Industry,
delivered a lecture on Thursday titled "The Local, Regional, and
International Economic Environment and Its Impact on the Jordanian
Economy." The lecture was presented to scholars in the 22nd Defense Course
and the 8th Master's Program in Strategies for Countering Extremism and
Terrorism.
The lecture was attended by the College Commandant, the Chairman, and
members of the directing staff.
He stated that levels of economic and trade activity have improved
globally, with strong exports (particularly from Asia, particularly in the
technology sector) contributing to higher-than-expected trade rates in many
countries.
He added that Jordan has demonstrated great resilience in responding to
and confronting multiple shocks,thanks to
effective policymaking and international support, as well as efforts to
maintain macroeconomic stability, in addition to efforts to expand national
exports to various global markets with the aim of maximizing its role in the
global supply chain.
At the end of the lecture, the lecturer answered all questions from the
audience.
