The
Royal Jordanian National Defense College and the National Defense University of
Pakistan signed a joint memorandum of understanding on Monday to enhance
cooperation in related educational fields
The
memorandum was signed by the College Commandant and the Pakistani Ambassador to
Amman
The
agreement comes within the framework of promoting the vision and directives of
His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, the Supreme Commander, and the
follow-up of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff regarding the openness
of state institutions to international universities. It also reflects the
desire to strengthen the existing friendly relations between the two parties,
in addition to creating joint cooperation in the fields of education, scientific
research, and strategic studies. It also aims to translate the relations
between the two sides to exchange expertise in various scientific and research
fields, implement exchange visits for students and faculty members, and hold
various specialized training courses, workshops, and conferences with the aim
of developing students' knowledge and preparing national competencies
The
signing of the memorandum was attended by the Pakistani Military Attaché in
Amman
