On Monday, at the Royal Jordanian National Defense College, the Chief of the Spanish Defense Staff, Admiral Teodoro Esteban López Calderón, delivered a lecture titled "European Defense Strategy After the Reemergence of the Cold War and the Return of Global Multipolarity." The lecture was delivered to scholars in the Defense 21 and Master's Programs in Strategies for Countering Extremism and Terrorism 7 courses.

During the lecture, the Spanish Chief of Defense Staff spoke about the features of European strategy after the Cold War and the return to a multipolar system. He also highlighted the importance of strengthening the European Union's security and defense policy through the Strategic Compass project. He also spoke about the Russian-Ukrainian war and its impact on global security, highlighting the conflicts in the Middle East and Africa, and the importance of international and humanitarian law and the law of armed conflict in various conflicts.

At the end of the visit, the Spanish Chief of Defense Staff wrote a note in the visitors' book, praising the college's outstanding academic level on a global scale.
