On
Wednesday, the Commandant of the Royal Jordanian National Defense College
sponsored the graduation ceremony of participants in the Leadership,
Management, and Strategic Planning Course for Doctors No. 3. The course is
organized by the college as part of the parallel academic programs held
annually for several government sectors.
The
Commandant of the College stated, "The course included training
participants on leadership and administrative thinking and developing a human
resources strategy." He highlighted the role of the Royal Medical
Services, which will remain a beacon of pride for the Kingdom, and its
expertise and military medical competencies.
The
course included training on several topics, most notably national security, its
basic concepts, the elements of state strength, and the challenges and threats
facing national security. It also covered the concept of leadership and
strategic management, including supply chains, hospital management, strategic
planning concepts, communication skills, and other topics that serve national
security concepts. The two-week course aimed to qualify a number of doctors
from the Medical Services Directorate in the art of leadership, management, and
strategic planning, under the supervision of the Jordanian Armed Forces,
represented by the Royal Jordanian National Defense College.
At
the end of the ceremony, the Commandant of the National Defense College
distributed certificates to the participants.
It
is worth noting that the National Defense College is dedicated to preparing
leadership elements from various state sectors (military and civilian) by
studying and analyzing the basic elements affecting national security. It also
trains elected officers from the Jordanian Armed Forces and sister and friendly
countries to occupy important and prominent positions in times of war and
peace. It also educates various leaders in the country in the field of national
security and state strategy, and conducts strategic studies on issues related
to national security in current circumstances.
