Deputy
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Shadaifat,
participated in the National Defense College's "Promising Leadership"
National Security Exercise, which the college is conducting in the field of
planning and state management as part of its administrative and leadership
training. The exercise was attended by a number of senior Armed Forces
officers, the college commandant, and members of the directing staff.
The
exercise aims to prepare strategic leaders at the state level for the military
and civilian sectors, with participants from Jordan and other friendly and
brotherly countries, in light of developments in the strategic environment,
including local, regional, and international dimensions.
The
visit included a briefing on the exercise and a tour of the college and its
facilities. Brigadier General Al-Shadaifat expressed his admiration for the
level reached by the college, praising the students' performance in executing
the exercise activities. This enhances the college's ability to prepare leaders
in the field of strategic planning in light of the changes and challenges
facing Jordanian national security.
In
a related context, the Deputy Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff visited the
Royal Jordanian Command and Staff College and listened to a briefing on the
Decisive Response Exercise, with its operational and tactical dimensions.
