The Director General of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority lectures at the Royal Jordanian National Defense College

On Wednesday, the Director General of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority, Eng. Abdul Rahim Al-Wreikat, delivered a lecture at the Royal Jordanian National Defense College on national policies in the field of transportation and Jordanian national security, in the presence of the college’s commander, Brigadier General Azzam Rawahneh, and the president and members of its Directing staff. Al-Wreikat said: "The Land Transport Regulatory Authority aims to regulate and monitor land transport and its services and encourage investment in the sector in line with the goals of economic and social development." Al-Wreikat indicated that the authority is working on implementing many projects within its strategic plan to achieve the strategic goals, which are considered one of the most important engines of the national economy and a strategic tool to support economic and investment growth, by contributing to the development of intra-trade movement and the development of the tourism sector and thus economic development. Al-Wreikat pointed out that transport contributes to advancing the economy by providing an attractive investment environment, as the volume of investment in the transport sector is estimated at 2.8 billion dinars. At the end of the lecture, an extensive discussion took place during which the lecturer answered the students' questions and inquiries.
