On Wednesday, at the Royal Jordanian National Defense College, Minister of Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Wajih Owais, delivered a lecture entitled "Educational Policy in Jordan and the Role of the Ministry of Education in Jordan's National Security", to scholars in the National Defense Course/20, in the presence of a commander College Brigadier General Azzam Al-Rawahneh and the head and members of the directing staff at the college. Dr. Owais said, "The admission policies must be entrusted to the universities, and it has become necessary to change the admission policy so that the universities are the ones that accept students and lay the right foundations," noting that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has laid foundations on how to accept scholars in universities on the That the high school rate is the basis for entering the university, not the specialization. The Minister of Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research stressed that there is a close strategic relationship between human resources and national security, for security in its various dimensions can only be achieved through the presence of qualified, trained and capable human resources, pointing out that educational institutions at all levels are concerned with building the capabilities of these elements. As for educational institutions, they have an active role in creating behavioral patterns among individuals that serve the strategic goals of national security.
