On Thursday The Minister of tourism and archaeology, Naif Al-Fayez, delivered a speech entitled "National Tourism Strategy" for participants in the 19th national defense course at the Royal Jordanian National Defense college, attended by a commander president and directing of the college Al-Fayez said "The national tourism strategy, based on product development, human resources, marketing, heritage management and protection and reform, aims to restore the number of tourists and tourism revenue to their previous levels by 2024 Increasing the number of direct employment in the tourism sector Al-Fayez added that the Ministry of tourism has taken a series of actions against corona in the recovery phase, the most important of which is to reduce the damage to the economic and tourism sectors, start the recovery phase and exempt corona from liability. Reducing sales tax from 16 to 8%, reducing service allowance tax from 10 to 5%, and starting a gradual return to work. Al-Fayez indicated that the ministry seeks, in the restart stage, to return to pre-Corona levels and build capacities to deal with the "new normal."
