Director of the Jordanian Center for Design and Development (JODDB) lecturing at the Royal Jordanian National Defense College


on Sunday, at the Royal Jordanian National Defense College, the Director of the Jordan Center for Design and Development (JODDB), Brigadier-General Ayman Al-Batran, gave a lecture entitled (International Challenges of Defense Technology Transfer, and its Impact on Defense Industries and Contemporary Technologies in Jordan) for students in Defense Course 19, in the presence of the college’s commander, Brigadier General Dr. Awad Al-Tarawneh, head and members of the directing staff. Brigadier General Al-Batran said: "The defense industries contribute to strengthening the state's strength, independence of the sovereign decision and supporting the national economy, in addition to developing human competencies, transferring knowledge and reducing dependence on external sources." The Director of the Jordan Center for Design and Development indicated that the center is a research center concerned with defense industry solutions, and it is a strategic and unique center in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and is distinguished in the Middle East and North Africa region, through its dedication to promoting and applying excellence in design, development, examination and evaluation, embracing technology and providing a wide range Of products, services and capabilities in the areas of: Ground systems, weapons and ammunition, electronics and electro-optics, personal protective equipment, future technology projects and training within a free industrial zone. At the end of the lecture, an extensive discussion took place, during which the guest answered the questions and inquiries of the scholars.
