On Thursday Dr. Awad Al-Tarawneh sponsored the graduation of the participants in the second strategic planning program which was organized by the Royal National Defense College within the parallel academic programs that are held annually in its premises for a number of sectors of the state. The program, which lasted for five days, aimed to learn the strategic planning methodology and understand the Jordanian national security system and crisis management. It targets the category of employees in the position of department head and branch head in ministries, government agencies, and independent institutions. The program consists of two phases and throughout the year The college commander, Brigadier General Dr. Awad Al-Tarawneh said: “Convening such courses comes in response and translation of the royal visions in developing the human resources strategy and integrating the thought of the different sectors of the state in an integrated manner and in line with the strategic vision of His Excellency the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff through the Royal Jordanian National Defense College in preparing Qualifying elected elements from the civil and military sectors in the field of strategic defense and security studies affecting Jordanian national security to work in senior leadership positions at the level of state administration and the Jordanian Armed Forces. Brigadier General Al-Tarawneh added that the participation of this elite achieved a qualitative leap in holding courses and activities, as the focus was on quality, not quantity, especially since the participants are a selected elite of various state institutions. It is noteworthy that the first strategic planning program was graduated last week at the Royal Jordanian National Defense College, and that the college is interested in preparing leadership elements from the various sectors of the state (military and civilian) through the study and analysis of the basic elements affecting national security, and the qualification of elected officers of the Jordanian Armed Forces. and brotherly and friendly countries to occupy important and prominent positions in times of war and peace, to educate the various leaders in the state in the field of national security and state strategy, and to conduct strategic studies on issues related to national security in the current circumstances.
