A seminar entitled "The Jordanian economy during the Corona pandemic " was held at the Royal Jordanian National Defense College on Thursday in the presence of commandant and directing staff chief and directing staff of college. The seminar, which was attended by economist Dr. Adly Qandah, Dr. Abdul Hakim Al-Shibli, Secretary General of the Ministry of Finance, Dr. Nidal al-Azzam, Director of the Department of Research and Studies at the Central Bank, and Dr. Masra al-Hayari, Director of the Directorate of Economic and Social Studies at the National Center for Agricultural Research, aimed to discuss and discuss the economic effects of the Corona pandemic on the national economy and financial policy during the crises and the role of monetary policy in the face of the consequences of this pandemic. In addition to highlighting the importance of the agricultural sector and its role in achieving food security during crises, the government has reviewed the most important government measures taken by the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Central Bank of Jordan to deal with the pandemic. At the end of the seminar, there was an extensive discussion during which participants answered questions from the audience.
