Opening of the National Defense Course and the Master's Program in Countering Extremism and Terrorism
Today on Tuesday our Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yusef Ahmed Al- Hunaiti , sponsored the opening ceremony of the National Defense 18/2021 course and the Master of Strategies program in countering extremism and terrorism 4/2021 at the Royal Jordanian National Defense College, with the participation of a number of officers of the armed forces and security services and a number of employees Various ministries and state institutions, and a number of officers of brotherly and friendly countries.
In a speech delivered at the beginning of the ceremony, Major General Yusef Ahmed Al-Hunaiti conveyed the greetings and blessings of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein, Supreme Commander of the Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army, wishing the participants success for joining this distinguished military scientific edifice.
The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff referred to the importance of the National Defense Course and the Strategies Program in Countering Extremism and Terrorism that qualify civil and military intellectual elites possessing the strategic and qualified vision capable of studying the strategic environment variables, by melting the various available capabilities and elements of the state's strength.
The Mufti of the Armed Forces, Brigadier Majid Al-Darawsheh, delivered a speech in which he said: “This college is ancient in its specialization, noble in its national mission, and you are the treasury of knowledge, pioneers of thought, and the hope of leadership.
The ceremony was attended by the Commander of the Royal Jordanian National Defense College, Vice President of Mu'tah University for Military Affairs, a number of senior officers of the armed forces and security services, and a number of military attaches of brotherly and friendly countries.
