Upon his arrival at the College, His Majesty received by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yusef Ahmad Al-Huneiti, and the commandant of the Royal Jordanian National Defense College. During the graduation ceremony, the commandant, , Ali al-Muqaddah, said that the National Defense Program focuses on security and defense and addresses the elements of national security and its components in all its dimensions, while the Master of Strategies for Countering Extremism and Terrorism Program focuses on preparing strategies that contribute to educating and immunizing society against extremist thought. He added that the college’s mission is to establish strategic planning capabilities and advanced leadership skills by adopting patterns of thinking in state management and anticipating the future, pointing out that the Corona crisis management provided a model for this type of management, through the outstanding joint performance between the government, the armed forces and security agencies.
