On Monday, the Mufti of the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Dr. Majid Salem Al- Darawsheh , delivered a lecture at the Royal Jordanian National Defense College for scholars of the National Defense 18 course entitled (Islamic Perspective on International Relations between Islamic Nations and International Humanitarian Law), in the presence of the college’s commander, head and members of the college’s directing staff .
Brigadier General Darawshe said: "The basis of international relations in Islam is peace and that war is not permitted except in the case of necessity, self-defense and protection of the state and order. Likewise, Muslims are not permitted to kill their opponents in religion unless they attack Muslims."
. The Mufti of the Jordanian Armed Forces added that international relations in light of Islamic law are based on several principles, the most important of which is equality in human rights and justice among followers of the Islamic state, in addition to fulfilling justice, peace and peace, which is the basis of relations between countries. At the end of the lecture, an extended discussion took place during which Dean Al-Darawsheh answered the attendees' questions and inquiries
