On
Sunday The Commandant of the Royal Jordanian National Defense College
inaugurated the Parallel Training and Citizenship Program for lecturers of
Military Science and Citizenship courses at Jordanian universities (Program No.

University Education Department, and members of the directing staff.
In his address, the Commandant emphasized the importance of
such programs, which contribute to strengthening the concept of national
security and raising awareness among university scholars, enabling them to
effect positive change in society. He noted that the program also aims to
fortify and refine their personalities, solidify the concept of national
identity, develop skills, and encourage creativity and innovation, adding that
discipline and responsibility are fundamental values in building national
identity.
The program aims to foster continuous communication between
the College and universities to identify the most prominent current, emerging,
and future issues of Jordanian national security, as well as related issues in
strategic thinking and planning, state management, and national crisis
management, in a way that contributes to the optimal utilization of national
resources.
This program complements several academic programs that will
be held in cooperation with the Directorate of Military Education and Culture,
in line with the Royal vision and the directives of the General Command of the
Armed Forces to engage with national institutions and build strategic
partnerships with them.
