Thursday,he Royal Jordanian National Defense College concluded its fourth
parallel studies program for lecturers of military science and citizenship
courses at Jordanian universities. The program, organized by the college as
part of its annual parallel academic programs for various sectors of the
country, was attended by the Commandant of the College, the Director of
Military Education and Culture, the Head and members of the College's directing
staff, and the Head of the University Education Department.
In his address during the closing ceremony, the Commandant
explained that the five-day program aimed to strengthen and solidify national
culture, cultivate a sense of citizenship among young people, and preserve
national identity and historical significance. This was achieved through the
participation of lecturers of military science and citizenship courses at
public and private universities. The program also aimed to enhance the learning
outcomes of military science courses for Jordanian university graduates, thereby
contributing to the development of generations aware of national and regional
issues and committed to their leadership, homeland, and history.
He noted that the program complements a series of academic
programs to be held in cooperation with the Directorate of Military Education
and Culture, and is one of the parallel academic programs implemented by the
college in fulfillment of His Majesty's vision and in implementation of the
directives of the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces to enhance communication
with national institutions.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Commandant of the
College distributed certificates to the graduates.
It is worth noting that the mission of the Royal Jordanian
National Defense College is to prepare leaders from various sectors of the
state, both military and civilian, through the study and analysis of the
fundamental elements affecting national security, and to qualify selected
officers from the Jordanian Armed Forces and brotherly and friendly countries,
in addition to civilians from various state agencies, to assume leadership
positions in the future.
