Jordanian Minister of Interior
Delivers Lecture at the Royal Jordanian National Defense College
Jordanian Minister of Interior
Mazen Al-Faraya delivered a lecture at the Royal Jordanian National Defense
College on Tuesday, titled “The Strategy of the Ministry of Interior and Its
Role in Jordan’s National Security.” The lecture was presented to participants
of the Defense Course No. 23, in the presence of the Commandant, the Chairman,
and members of the college’s directing staff.
Al-Faraya stated that the
Ministry of Interior’s strategy for preserving Jordan’s national security
aligns with national objectives, noting that the Ministry, through continuous
coordination with various security agencies, works to strengthen the national
security system. He added that the Ministry’s duties have gone beyond
maintaining public security and order to include several key pillars, most
notably administration and development.
He emphasized that the concept
of security is based on safeguarding the state’s entity and achieving
political, social, and economic stability through a dynamic approach that
evolves in response to changing circumstances. This concept, he noted, is
closely linked to both internal and external conditions and developments.
The Minister highlighted that
one of the main pillars of internal security is national unity, which forms the
foundation of the country’s security and stability. He stressed that every
individual contributes from their respective position within an integrated
framework through which the Ministry seeks to secure and protect the homeland
and society from all threats.
At the end, the Minister
responded to all questions and inquiries from the attendees.
