On
Monday ,The Leadership and Administrative Qualification Program for Physicians
was inaugurated at the Royal Jordanian National Defense College. The program is
organized by the college as part of the parallel academic programs held
annually for a number of government sectors. The program was attended by the
Commandant of the National Defense College.
The program aims to qualify a number of physicians from the
Medical Services Directorate in leadership, management, strategic planning, and
risk management skills.
The two-week program includes training through which
participants acquire leadership skills and practical experience. It also covers
several topics, most notably national security, its basic concepts, the
challenges and threats it faces, and the elements of state power. It also
covers the concept of leadership and strategic management, strategic planning
concepts, communication skills, and other topics that serve the concept of
national security.
It is noteworthy that the National Defense College is
concerned with preparing leadership elements from various state sectors
(military and civilian) through studying and analyzing the basic elements
influencing national security, qualifying elected officers from the Jordanian
Armed Forces and sister and friendly countries to occupy leadership positions,
and qualifying various leaderships in the state in the field of national
security and state strategy.
