National Defense College organized a seminar titled "Global Challenges and
Threats and Their Impact on National Security" for scholrs in the 22nd
Defense Course and the 8th Master's Program in Strategies for Countering Extremism
and Terrorism. The seminar was attended by the College Commandant, the Head of
the College, and members of the directing staff..
The seminar aimed to enhance students' understanding of issues related
to the concepts of achieving national security from a holistic perspective, and
to understand the influences of the current strategic environment and its
implications for national security, particularly food security and climate
change, as these are among the most prominent global challenges and threats
directly linked to achieving national security.
The seminar discussed climate change and its impact on Jordanian
national security, as well as food security and its impact on national security.
At the conclusion of the seminar, an extensive discussion took place
during which participants answered questions and inquiries from the audience.
