Training
course titled "Strategic Perspectives for Senior Leaders" concluded
today, Thursday, at the Royal Jordanian National Defense College. The course
was held in cooperation with the Near East and South Asia Center for Strategic
Studies (NESA), affiliated with the U.S. Department of Defense, as part of the
Jordanian-American cooperation to develop strategic capabilities. The course
was attended by the College Commandant, Brigadier General Khaled Bani Younis,
and members of the guidance staff.
The
training course, presented by the Near East and South Asia Center for Strategic
Studies (NESA), headed by Professor Richard Wiersma, aimed to provide an
overview of leadership and strategic planning and introduce students to best
practices in professional military education. It also provided training on
topics such as strategic leadership, strategic thinking, strategic
decision-making, the features of future wars, and the study of hypotheses that
help in developing strategies.
It
is worth noting that the Near East and South Asia Center for Strategic Studies
(NESA) holds educational courses in partnership with civilian and military
educational institutions.
