A
training course titled "Strategic Perspectives for Senior Leaders"
was launched at the Royal Jordanian National Defense College today, Sunday. The
course, in cooperation with the Near East and South Asia Center for Strategic
Studies (NESA) of the U.S. Department of Defense, was held within the framework
of Jordanian-American cooperation to develop strategic capabilities. The course
was attended by the college commandant and members of the guidance staff.
The
training course, presented by the Near East and South Asia Center for Strategic
Studies and chaired by Professor Richard Wiersma, aims to provide an overview
of leadership and strategic planning and introduce students to best practices
in professional military education. It also trains students on topics such as
strategic leadership, strategic thinking, strategic decision-making, the
features of future wars, and the study of hypotheses that help in developing
strategies.
It
is worth noting that the Near East and South Asia Center for Strategic Studies
(NESA) holds educational courses in partnership with civilian and military
educational institutions.
